guys i am new here, i am familiar with cpanel but never had an experience working with WHM, as far as i know cpanel i just a client of WHM.

hope you can enlightened me with this guys, your help is very much appreciated.

Heres my plan. Our company has 3 subcompany and we want to have a websites for each subcompany.

for example i bought a domain named us rootdomain.com, and i want to addon the three company, such as:

rootdomain.com
---company1.com
---company2.com
---company3.com

my questions are:
1. Can we also assign an email addon domain like for example company1.com has its mail.company1.com to accepts incoming emails as well us assign emails to users with this format [email protected], or [email protected]?

2. about the url address on the browser, if i will access www.company1.com, is there a workaround to be done that the url registered on the browser would still be www.company1.com; and not the domainname that i bought?

your help is well appreciated, coz i want to buy WHM and cpanel, and i dont want to waste money that will not be worthy later on.

thnx alot guys and God Speed

1 - Yes, you can redirect all email from 1 domain to another domain. This is called a "Domain Forwarder." You can login to your cPanel account(s) and in the Mail feature block, select Forwarders. At the bottom you can set up Email Domain Forwarders, simply follow the on-screen instructions if you need any assistance. You can do this with addon/parked/sub domains as well as the main domain of any cPanel account on your server.

2 - Note you will need to buy the domain company1.com if you intend to do anything with company1.com. What you are mentioning sounds like a parked domain where you go to company1.com, the address company1.com is showing in the address bar but you're really at rootdomain.com. You can set this up by going to your cPanel interface and in the Domains feature blockselect Parked Domains.
