I would like to do a daily backup 2 times every abut 12 hours apart. I have cpanel backups set to daily only no month and no weekly.

    The cron job for cpbackup

How do I set this up for 2 times a day 12 hours apart and is the best times to do this?

In your WHM left menu > cPanel section > Manage Plugins, there is one listed called cronconfig select that, scroll down and save. Now refresh WHM and look for the new link in the Plugins section called Configure cPanel Cron Times and click to edit the cpbackup cron to suit your needs.
