    Hello,

WHM > List Accounts and few other functions give following error:

The system failed to return from fetching quota and disk infomation. This function cannot be used until quotas are repaired. [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]

Once cannot login to cPanel because of this issue.
    Tried /scripts/initquotas
    /scripts/fixquotas
things complete correctly here but still same error

Tried everything mentioned in another thread wrt quotas, but still no breakthrough. /scripts/fixquotas completes correctly though.

Every login attampt to cPanel hangs and increase server load.

Any clue as to what needs to be done ?

    TIA
    Anup

Thanks. Breaking my head found that this was more due to issues with nfs mount. First off i thought it had to do something with AWBS account creation messing up something but that was not so.

Yes one issue that i found was that /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log was empty so nothing there to track from. However, error_log has a lot of the following in normal course:

Internal Error: "" Normal Connection Timeout (Probably closed browser on a HTTP/1.1 session) at cpsrvd.pl line 1470.
    Content-type: text/html

    Thanks
    Anup

    Go on, have a guess
That is odd. First off, for the hangs try:

    rm -iv /etc/*.lock

For the quota issue, are there any more details errors in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log when the "[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]" is generated?

You may need to log this through your cPanel license provider to have cPanel look into it for you.
