In my /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log I have this:

    Code:
quota: Cannot open quotafile /home2/quota.user: No such file or directory
[2013-04-02 15:55:15 +0100] info [cpanel] Quotas are not enabled
    [2013-04-02 16:11:09 +0100] info [cpanellogd] Unable to load summary files: /var/cpanel/bandwidth/jmgcarpe.hour, /var/cpanel/bandwidth/jmgcarpe.5min
repquota: Cannot stat() mounted device /dev/root: No such file or directory
    Code:
    root@server1 [~]# ll /dev/root
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 Mar 30 13:14 /dev/root -> /dev/sd
    root@server1 [~]#
    The /etc/fstab file
    Code:
    # <file system>	<mount point>	<type>	<options>	<dump>	<pass>
    /dev/sda1	/	ext3	errors=remount-ro,usrjquota=quota.user,jqfmt=vfsv0	0	1
    /dev/sda2	/home	ext3	usrjquota=quota.user,jqfmt=vfsv0	1	2
    /dev/sda3	swap	swap	defaults	0	0
    proc /proc	proc	defaults 0	0
    sysfs /sys	sysfs	defaults 0	0
    tmpfs /dev/shm	tmpfs	defaults,noexec,nosuid	0	0
    devpts /dev/pts	devpts	defaults	0	0
    /dev/sdb	/home2	ext3	usrjquota=quota.user,jqfmt=vfsv0	0	0
    /tmp /var/tmp ext3 defaults,bind,noauto 0 0
    I tried
    Code:
    root@server1 [~]# ln -s /dev/sda1 /dev/root
ln: creating symbolic link `/dev/root': File exists
    root@server1 [~]# ln -s /dev/sda2 /dev/root
ln: creating symbolic link `/dev/root': File exists
    root@server1 [~]#
How can i stop this error?

    Thanks in advance :)

This can be closed as I have figured out the problem

    The fix
    Code:
    root@server1 [~]# ln -s /dev/sdb /dev/root
Always the simple things that are missed :)
