Quotas not working...when trying /scripts/fixquota I get "Old group files not found"

Please help, quotas aren't working in that when I try to either enable quotas in cpanel or fix 'em via /scripts/fixquota I get an error: Old group file(s) not found, won't subtract usage"...then once the script is done, the disk space for accounts is updated but never continues to be updated (it just stays at however much disk space was used when the fixquota script was run)...ugh, please help, how can I fix this? The server's running Suse 10 and cPanel version 10.8.2-RELEASE 83, thanks!

also, all my drives are mounted with the quota option enabled (and thus quotas enabled), and I'm using the stock 2.6.13-15-smp suse 10 kernel...so please help, I really need this fixed! Thanks!

I've tried quotaon /dev/sda3 (which is the / HD) but it says: "quotaon: using //quota.user on /dev/hda3 [/]: Invalid argument quotaon: Maybe create new quota files with quotacheck(8)" , I've tried quotacheck on that drive and it returns no errors but quotaon still returns that error...tried updating quota via apt-get but it said I had the latest version...and if I try to reinstall the rpm via whm I get this error and am unable to select any rpms:

why does it say that when suse 10 is said as supported on cpanels homepage??? How do I fix this quota error??? Please help, thanks!

Well, since no help was being given to me here , I went to http://www.configserver.com and hired them to fix the issue for me. The issue was fixed quickly (turns out the issue was simply that instead of using the quota option on my mountpoints, I had to use the usrquota option) and it was affordable, just $25. This issue has been resolved .
