    Hello,

on a vps I did try to enable quotas via Main >> Server Configuration >> Initial Quota Setup

    The result I get is:

    Installing Default Quota Databases......Done
    Quota Mode: Linux
journaled quota support: not available with vzaquota (disabled)
Quotas have been enabled, however they may not be up to date as quotacheck has been skipped.
    Reading package *****
    No filesystems with quota detected.
    Resetting quota for ***** to 1024 M
    Reading package *****
    No filesystems with quota detected.
    Resetting quota for ***** to 2048 M
    Reading package *****
    No filesystems with quota detected.
    Resetting quota for ***** to 512 M
    No filesystems with quota detected.
    Resetting quota for ***** to 1024 M

etc etc, but when I go to Main >> Account Information >> List Accounts
in the column Quota all is see is "Unlimited".
I do check the packages and all have some quota number setup.
so is quota not working? and if it is not, why it doesnt show on "List Accounts" ?

Is there any way to force cpanel to check quota and disk usage?

    problem is fixed.
    What helped was
    1.unmounting/shutting down the container/vps
2.adding the quotaugidlimit option as described here User Guide/Managing Resources - OpenVZ Linux Containers Wiki ( I used 200 instead of 100)
    3.starting/mounting the container/vps
    4.running /scripts/fixquotas

    fixed.
