Anyone could recommend me a good raid card, plug and play compatible with Centos 4.5 ?

I want to run raid 1. My disks are sata II

I saw a lot over ebay but most of them are for windows. Im looking for one to plug in my actual server, setup it and ready to go.

If anyone is using a good one, please let me know chipset, brand etc.

    Thanks!

I found one Adaptec 1420SA shall it works with centos?
My board is PCI-X compatible. Im looking for something that you plug, setup via bios and get working in a few minutes, without setting up any drivers. (that use centos native drivers)

    My mother is ASUS m2npv-vm

    Thanks.

You can download the docs/install info from Highpoint before you buy. Wait for their message or just go back to the controller you are interested in and then at the top look for the documentation or faqs.

Ok, I sent a message to hight tech support asking of compatibilities.

In my case I have drive 1 with the main disk, and drive 2 with cpanel backups.

When I plug the card I have to set the drive 1 to it and a second equal empty drive to the other sata port for raid 1 replication.

and drive2 remains pluged to the mainboard right?

    Thank you.
