Hi this is my first post here. I have been hosting websites on a VPS for a while now and have only just come across this issue and wonder if anyone can help.

Basically I have scheduled backups set up on WHM, these are stored on a remote server and not the VPS in question. The problem I'm having is backups for random sites are failing randomly, so I'll have a full backup for a site one day and then the next day the backup file will be 0KB! I will paste below an extraction from the log file which I think is causing the failure:

Failed to write: Disk quota exceeded at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/FileUtils/Write.pm line 74
Cpanel::FileUtils::Write::writefile('/ftpbackups/ftpbackup/2014-05-06/accounts/radcliff/meta/dbmap...', '--- \x{a}MYSQL: \x{a} dbs: \x{a} radcliff_live: 37.122.211.192\x{a} dbus...', 384) called at /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/pkgacct line 992
Script::Pkgacct::script('Script::Pkgacct', 'radcliff', '/ftpbackups/ftpbackup/2014-05-06/accounts', 'backup') called at /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/pkgacct line 114
Entering timeout safety mode
Can anyone please help here and enlighten me to what the issue may be? If any further info is needed please let me know and I will try to supply it.

Thanks in advance.

Hello :)

The error message indicates a lack of available disk space. Have you verified the FTP account used for the remote server is not reaching it's disk space or inodes limit? Also, check the local server to make sure there is enough space/inodes to package the account locally before it's transferred.

Thank you.
