    Hello,

Sometimes our clients are getting their websites hacked ( poor protection on web-scripts, outdated web-scripts and similar ) ... They are trying to get apache logs to help them find their security vulnerabilities but the apache log is ~5000 lines or 5-6 hours. Can this be increased in the cPanel on direcly on the server to keep logs for example 10 000 lines or at least 24 hours ?!

    Thanks

    Hello,

cPanel rotates the access logs to generate stats in certain intervel. You can manage the stats processing intervel from WHM >> Main >> Server Configuration >> Statistics Software Configuration.

Also there is an option to store access log for the user before it process. Login to the corresponding cPanel , then navigate to Logs >> Raw Access Log . There you can see two options ( look into the two check boxes at top ) to manage the access logs for that user!

    Thank you.
