Raw Log Files???

Hello, I have a client that is insisting to have the raw log access files, and he claims he has downloaded the .com files through FTP and he says they are not the right files. I've searched and not really seen anything on how to access these files, or do we not have access to them at all through cPanel or WHM? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In what sense &they are not the right files&? What's the name of the files they downloaded? If it's domainname.tar.gz they should uncompress it first (with Winzip for example). Did they try to execute the downloadwed .com file from Windows? If so tell them to open it with a text editor instead.

The log files are normally root.root, so they shouldn't be able to download them thru FTP. Some people call FTP to file transfer thru HTTP.
