Raw Logs

    A customer writes:
    If you click on the &Raw Log File& option under Stats and save to disk, it creates a file with the suffix &.gz.tar&. It looks like this is a simple gzip'ed text file, and tar doesn't figure into it at all. It'd be nice if it just created a &.gz& extension.

    Any comments from CPanel.net on this?

    Browser settings or Windows file associations (or what ever they are called) playing tricks?? I just checked to make sure and yes, the downloadable file is called &accesslog-domain.com-1-1-2003.gz&. No sign of &tar& in there.

    What OS and browser are they using?

    (Tested on Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 with Mozilla 1.1, Opera 6.1 and Konqueror 3.0.5a browsers)
