Ok i'm having a issue with a client who wants to set up some ftp accesses for patch files.. he has a few ftp accounts set up on his domain for the varuous patch dir's and needs to set them all to read only for these added ftp accounts.. he chmods 444 but the users can still change file names or delete the files.

how can he/we set this to prevent this but allow his ftp users to read the files (read only) and still allow him (owner) to modify them as needed???

    HELP!!
