    hello,

    I have a cpanel server that the disk quota keeps changing accounts to unlimited when they are in a package. the package does not change but the quota only does. any ideas what to check to stop this?

    thanks

    Try that and all should be well :)

    Getting the exact same problem and found out it's causing another problem
    as well namely that no folders are being created in new accounts.

    HostMerit, already tried what you suggested before you suggested it but didn't work.

    Same here

    I'm having the same issue. The commands above will set the account quota to more less accurate and quota to unlimited. When changing quota for account it gives "Successfully changed" but going back to quota modification page its abck to unlimited.
    This was working fine for 2 years.

    When I ran fixquotas it resets all account quotas but not to the amounts the command output states but unlimited.

    My /etc/fstab on redhat 9:
    Code:
    LABEL=/                 /                       ext3    defaults,usrquota  1 1
    LABEL=/boot             /boot                   ext3    defaults        1 2
    none                    /dev/pts                devpts  gid=5,mode=620  0 0
    none                    /proc                   proc    defaults        0 0
    none                    /dev/shm                tmpfs   defaults        0 0
    /dev/hda2               swap                    swap    defaults        0 0
    /dev/cdrom              /mnt/cdrom              udf,iso9660 noauto,owner,kudzu,ro 0 0
    /dev/fd0                /mnt/floppy             auto    noauto,owner,kudzu 0 0
    Not sure why this worked for a long time not it just stopped and no initquota,fixquota not cpanel functions give an error yet quotas cannot be set.
