Recommended firewall

    Im running cpanel and my machine has 10 ip's I need to install a firewall but have got know idea how to get it to let the other 9 ip's have acceess any reccomendations. i tired istalling one but locked me out of all but the main ip

    I agree. A very simple install and quite effective.

    After install, check your logwatch email and you will be amazed!!!

    You can get APF from http://www.rfxnetworks.com. Easy to install and it now includes an anti-dos program within it. Though not as strong as a hardware based floodguard it is awesome. One of our servers had a major DOS attack on it Tuesday and it fended off more than 80% of the attack. Would have done better but we had an IDE channel fail out on the box.

    Anyone of you using this script willing to show your
    settings here. I don't understand everyhting and all the ports needed regarding cpanel and so I ahve no clue about.

    Or anyone interested in installing it on 2 servers.
    Will be happy to pay you offcourse.
