This isn't necessarily a Cpanel error but rather a recompiling problem. I updated my php from 2.17 to 3.5.6. I have some custom extensions installed but now I am having problems making them work with my new php build. In the folder with the uploaded extension.

    Code:
    phpize
    ./configure --with-ssl
    make install
Is this the right way to fix my problem? I am really new to the linux world and would appreciate any help I can get. This is probably very easy but I am banging my head against a wall.

I run make test and I get this error

    Code:
Warning: PHP Startup: tclink: Unable to initialize module
    Module compiled with module API=20060613
    PHP compiled with module API=20090626
    These options need to match
     in Unknown on line 0
    Thanks

I'm confused by your PHP version indicated. Do you mean you have PHP 5.3.5 or 5.3.6 or some other PHP version? PHP versions would not currently be at 2.17 and 3.5.6 ones, so I could see having PHP 5.2.17 or PHP 5.3.5 or PHP 5.3.6 as available. If you could post your php -v results, that would be helpful:

    Code:
    php -v
Additionally, which specific PHP extension does this happen to be that you've custom added to the machine? Is it tclink?

    Thanks!
