    Hi guys,

Is it possible to recompile PHP with GD and CURL support using the WHM interface? If so, could you point me towards some documents on how to do it?

I'd like to keep it simple ;d i'm a unix noob with a dedicated server.

    OS: FreeBSD 6.0
cPanel Info: WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.2-R119
    CentOS 4.4 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

    [edit]
Whoa, My operating system is FreeBSD 6.0 but in WHM in the upper right corner it says CentOS 4.4  Is this OK? I read cPanel FAQ and it doesn't say FreeBSD 6.0 is supported. =/ Did my datacenter just throw up any version of cpanel/whm?

or they lied to you about what OS is actually installed. :)

    either way.

Login to WHM > Apache Update (on the left menu) > Tick (select) what options you want; GD, Curl, PHP 4.4.4 (latest build of 4.x.x) or 5 if you wish.

I suggest you use "Verbose Build (show configure and gcc output)" so you can see any errors if there are any.

    Thanks.
