Recover email from removed accounts

Actually, it looks like the backup did actually work. The old account is showing up now. I'm having my client check and make sure the emails are still there.

 

I removed an email account from cPanel and replaced it with a forwarder. However, there were still emails on the server stored in the account I removed. Is there any way to get those emails back once the account is removed? I tried restoring a backup on the account, but that didn't restore the email account. I'm using 11.18.3-STABLE 21703.

Any advice?
