My WHM/cPanel server was compromised and after 24 hours of failed efforts of me trying to backup using WHM and cPanel, my web host offered to slave that hard drive onto a fresh new server. After more gesticulations, they got that drive hooked up.

So I can now see my old WHM/cPanel hard drive as a mounted drive, but obviously I cannot use any of the normal tools like mysqldump, etc. to transfer databases. Any ideas on how to migrate MySQL databases and e-mail accounts over?

I was able to copy the files over from the old drive to /var/lib/mysql/ and change the ownership to mysql:mysql and it seems to be working.
