Recovery of deleted data

Hi All,

I am using a cloud server with WHM/Cpanel installed on it. My server was compromised earlier today and this resulted in all my files in the public_html folder getting deleted.

I do not have any backups at this point as WHM/Cpanel was not configured to save any.

I am currently awaiting a response from my hosting provider, they mentioned they will try to restore the VM image but cannot confirm if it will solve the problem.

My question is if there is a way to recover all the deleted data still?

Hello

It's not possible to restore the data if you did not have backups enabled. Your hosting provider may have a backup of the entire VPS image, and they may be able to restore that data for you.
