It looks like my cPanel/WHM was upgraded to the latest STABLE release of WHM 9.9.7 cPanel 9.9.8-S6 and now my DNS is doing funny things... the /etc/named.conf is pointing to the zone files in /var/named, however cPanel is creating new entries in /etc/namedb and also looking for those entries there when you try to edit them through WHM.

Anyone know what's going on here? Any new domains I add aren't working because they're going to the wrong named.conf which is pointing it to the wrong zone file area....

    Thanks!

bump.... anyone? Should I downgrade my version of cpanel and whm so that it's creating zone files in the correct location (/var/named) and not the new one it uses (/etc/namedb)?

Same issue, but not a clue how to fix it yet. :(
