I recently purchased and installed an exchange server and would like to redirect DNS for mail.yoursite.com" to point to my server at xx.xxx.xxx.xx but do not clearly see how to do that in the CPANEL. My DNS needs to include an MX Record pointing "mail" to mail.yoursite.com and an A record for "mail.yoursite.com" pointing to my new servers IP Address of xx.xxx.xxx.xx. Can this be done?

The A entry can only be set up via the WHM interface. If you do not have access to DNS functionality via WHM, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

MX entries can be configured via both the cPanel and WHM interfaces.

Thanks for the quick reply. In WHM do I change MX entry to ip address? What about priority. mail.yoursite.com is set to 0 and ip address is set to 10. Is this ok?

No. You have two entries. You should only have one, for the Exchange server.
