    Hello,

Regarding the below release note for cPanel 80:

    Reduced maximum number of connections

We changed the default maximum number of connections to a server from 500 to 151. System administrators can update the value for the max_connections key in the /etc/my.cnf file.

Can I confirm that "my.cnf" file will not be touched during the upgrade, and that this is only for new installations?

    Thank you.

    Hi @nunop

It shouldn't touch a previously manually configured value, no.
