I've got around 10 customers I host on a small VPS (about the minimum that can run cpanel).
I've been bumping up against the numfile limits and have gotten my vps host to raise them twice.
The numfile limit is the only one I'm hitting, so it doesn't make sense for me to upgrade to the next plan up. I'm wondering if anyone has already solved this problem with their cpanel install.

Ideally I'd like to use something like syslog and cut the open handles down to 10% of what it is now.

I've been searching both here and at webhostingtalk but not found any cpanel specific solutions.

    Thank you,
