Hello,

How do I change the settings on Apache or WEBALIZER so it does not track my own referrerals? The webstats in WEBALIZER have all these instances of the main domain (lcoalhost) as the referring link but I only want to see outside referrers...

Is that possible?

Or should i ask this question in another forum...

thanx

I've had users ask this as well, is there any way?

I think i've found the solution.

in /home/user/ create a file webalizer.conf and chmod it 777

Add the following info in there

PHP:
# Your own site should be hidden
HideSite *yourdomain.com
HideSite localhost

# Your own site gives most referrals
HideReferrer yourdomain.com/

# The "Top" options below define the number of entries for each table.
# Defaults are Sites=30, URL's=30, Referrers=30 and Agents=15, and
# Countries=30. TopKSites and TopKURLs (by KByte tables) both default
# to 10, as do the top entry/exit tables (TopEntry/TopExit). The top
# search strings and usernames default to 20. Tables may be disabled
# by using zero (0) for the value.
TopSites 10
TopKSites 10
TopURLs 10
TopKURLs 50
TopReferrers 250
TopAgents 15
TopCountries 10
TopEntry 10
TopExit 10
TopSearch 20
TopUsers 20

# Usually you want to hide these
HideURL *.gif
HideURL *.GIF
HideURL *.jpg
HideURL *.JPG
HideURL *.png
HideURL *.PNG
HideURL *.bmp
HideURL *.BMP
The later stuff you can do without of you want, should default to standard webalizer stuff.

You'll either need to wait till stats run, or run them manually for this to pickup.

# /scripts/runweblogs username

Good luck.
