Hi, I was checking the exim log and I found the following:

Hello,

This does not appear to be a feature request, or if it is one, I'm not certain what is being requested?

If this is simply a question about troubleshooting the errors, here are link on what you might check:

Failed to get write lock | exim | users

The discussion later on indicates it is due to possible high load and memory issues on the machine at the time. If you check "sar" in root SSH, do you see any issues around those times?
