Can we get this turned off(by default) by any change, due to the security risk it presents for all the add-ons?

    Regards,

For cPServD it would be: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/etc/php.ini

cPD is right - but I was wondering if we could get this set by default.

I received a reply from a vendor that develops a 3rd-party module for cPanel saying they would not acknowledge that security issue until it was made a "default" by cPanel. Once it was made the default, they would change their software to comply.

    Kind Regards,

You could always submit it as a feature request for this at http://bugzilla.cpanel.net
