According to this, there is an option to reindex the Solr IMAP Full-Text search in v70 through the Webmail interface.
Is there a command line alternative for v68? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (also deleted any files under the /home/cpanelsolr/ path) the plugin, but I'm still experiencing cases of Roundcube not being able to find search terms in emails.

A customer is trying to search for a term (nothing complex, just an email address) which I can confirm exists in the body of an email from yesterday, but search produces no results. This was working in the past.

Except from upgrading to v70, is there any other way to reindex IMAP Full-Text search (either for a specific email or domain, or for the entire box)?

Hello,

Yes, the following script is available in cPanel & WHM version 68:

Code:
# /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/rescan_user_dovecot_fts --help
Usage:
        rescan_users_dovecot_fts ( --user <username> | --help )

This script will call a dovecot FTS (full text search) rescan for each
mailbox on a specified account if the 'cpanel-dovecot-solr' RPM is
installed. If not, the script informs that the RPM isn't installed and
    returns.
Let us know if this helps.

Thank you.
