I would like to set up the default address as: :fail: no such address here so that email that is not addressed to a valid user receives a bounce message in reply.

However, if the return-path is empty I would like to delete the message without replying.

How can I set this up?

    Thanks in advance.

    Unrouted Mails without Return Path

As I believe that if you set :fail: for all unrouted mails then the mails that don't have return path will be kept in mailq and it will try again and again to find out it's address that obviously will not be there.
So I think you can either bounced back all the mails or discard all, in between nothing can be done but if anyone has some new tricks for that. WELCOME.
