    Hello,
I editted the relayhosts for the first time today and notices that there are about 20 IP written to the file plus a verizon.net address.

My question is, is this something I should be concerned about? Does cpanel write these IPs to the file for some reason or would you suspect that someone hacked in and added those IPs?

    Thanks,
    Andy

Do you have multiple users on the system? The /etc/relayhosts file should have valid IP addresses in it.

Have you compared it to what is in /etc/relayhostsusers?

What you are seeing is OKAY. Cpanel put the ip address of the client who accesses pop3 email box inside a file /etc/relayhosts and allows them to send mails without smtp authentication.
