    Hello,
is it able that the releasetree Edge is a security hole or can destroy a system (or a working site? We have no problem with update cpanel daily. Which version is Edge currently?

Versions are here: Downloads - cPanel Inc.

Just to note, I wouldn't run anything over Release on a production environment.

What are the beta and nightly builds?

Seems that current and edge is the same version - no need for upgrade.

    Hello khorinis,

RELEASE and EDGE might show the same version at this time, but you would not be advised to run EDGE on a production machine. EDGE is the first tier after BETA to receive the latest updates, but this also means it has the biggest possibility of bugs that will need to be resolved. Not as many people would have tested EDGE outside our development and quality assurance teams, so it is not intended for production.

BETA and NIGHTLY builds are even less production worthy, since they will be using less tested code. You do not want to run either on a machine with accounts. Please note that we are no longer providing NIGHTLY builds to the public to utilize (these are being restricted to internal company testing).

    Thanks.
