Remote Access Key: where do I save it so users with ssh won't be able to read it?

Hi I'm making a little php script that will use the remote access key. Now my question is where do I store the key so that the users with ssh access will not be able to read it but I will still be able to require() it into my php file? All users should be able to access this script when they login to cpanel. So the actual script is going to be in the theme directory.

    Any advice?

    Thanks!

The location of the file is not so important as are the permissions.

If the remote access key is going to be used from within a feature within cPanel itself, the key need only be stored in a file that can be accessed by cPanel.

Giving the file root:root ownership and permissons of 0700 wouldn't be a bad shot.
