Remote backup using FTP

Hi guys,

Has anyone try the FTP remote backup feature on EDGE version ?

&Full Backup in cPanel You can now download a full backup of a site from cPanel. This includes everything needed to restore the account in the event of data loss. You can also choose to have the backup ftped to a remote server.
(5.3.0 build 91 EDGE or later only)&

I'm using 5.3.0 build 117 RELEASE version right now .. can I upgrade to EDGE version or .. I have to start with EDGE in the beginning ?

If .. for example I upgraded to EDGE release .. can I switch back to RELEASE version ?

EDGE and RELEASE are just another piece of info to help you to determine whether it's stable or not. 5.3.0 build 117 RELEASE should have the features in 5.3.0 build 91 EDGE since 117 is newer than 91.
