    hello,

how can i setup a subdomain (sub.mydomain.com) so that instead of entering my ip adress in the remote desktop window -of windows xp- to remote desktop my computer at home i just write the subdomian name..

-i created a subdomain and redirected it to my external ip adress and then tried to use it in remote desktop my computer but it didn't work-

    any help? please..

Its not cpanel related but why dont you just register a dyndns name ?

Does your domain resolve to your home IP ?
    Does the subdomain resolve ?
