Remote Mail Exchanger selected - mx records not set correctly

Hi I transferred a cpanel account from another cpanel server and was not receiving any mail for around 3-5 days, the following was selected ' Remote Mail Exchanger ' therefore no mail was being received. This was because it did not copy the MX records over. I was using google apps MX records. Can you tell me if these emails are stored anywhere?

The emails won't be stored anywhere if they were unable to be delivered. They would have eventually failed.

Those emails that didn't fail being sent to your email should re-try for up to 3 days after the initial failure before giving up on message delivery usually.
