Hi i have a client who hosts his site on my server but has his mail delivered to a remote server.

His mx record points to the remote server and all mail goes thru to it without any problems except any mail from other accounts on the server or from scripts on his site is being delivered to the accounts inbox on the server instead of being delivered to the remote server.

does anyone have any ideas as to what the cause of thi scould be and how i could fix it???

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is his domain listed in /etc/localdomains ? If so, that's your problem.

No, /etc/localdomains is only used for e-mail as far as I know. You can safely remove the entry from there. And actually, it looks like you need to place it in /etc/remotedomains . Give that a try.
