I hope somebody can help me.

A customer wants to connect to mysql at our server via ODBC from his own computer.
    Here is his sessions log:

His IP is added to "allowed hosts", also I do can connect from my computer without a problem.
Can somebody point me to where I can start to track the problem from?

    Thank you. Support Ticket Number:

I was having a simular problem.

    1. I wanted to connect to a remote MySQL database from another server.

    2. I did not want to have to keep entering IP's as multiple servers would connect.

Goto cPanel for the user that hosts the DB.

In the add host input "%" and save. Now, all remote servers should be able to connect to your IP address instead of using localhost

Hope this helps for somebody, I searched and never found this info so here it is.
