Remote mysql server problem

I'm trying to install a remote mysql server but I have multiple errors :

I think the problem is perl but I don't know exactly what. Can you help me ?

you must create symbolic link in remote server

cd /scripts
ln -s ./ Cpanel

Mysql can't start, it's the problem. When I do /etc/init.d/mysql start I have :

And "mysql"

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

I must find why mysql doesn't start before cry after whm :D

I can connect (mysql -u root -h 213.186.xx.xx -p) from the "local" server, the web server with ssh access. Why these errors ?

Did you set a mysql root password? If not, you may need to do so.

Yes, root user has a password.

the operating systems seem to store the default username and password in /root/.my.cnf

Changing the password here solved the problem you have for me.
