    Hello everyone,

    I have some php scipts setup to create dns zones from a remote server. It does it via http by sending the username and password then the needed variables via get. The problem is that I have not been able to get it to work using https. I think the request fails because of the need to accept the certificate. I am assuming that I could handle this using CURL but I can not get that going on my box right now. Is there any way to supress the cert or any other way to get https working. I included an example below, I do not want my root password flying around unencrypted.

    function CreateDNS($domain, $ipaddress, $owner){
    file("http://".$this->set_username.":".$this->set_password."@".$this->set_domain.":".$this->set_port."/scripts/adddns?zone=".$domain."&ip=".$ipaddress."&domain=".$owner);
    }

    Can I do this via https?
