We have website hosted under our cPanel, which using remote SMTP to send emails from the website.

i.e the website is hosted under us but the smtp for email server is hosted in different server..

The issue is, when "Restricted SMTP" is enabled, it doesn't allow to send email via smtp from the website.

But when "Restricted SMTP" is disabled , it allows website to send email via smtp.

Is there any solution for it ?

    Hello :)

    Per the option description:

This feature prevents users from bypassing the mail server to send mail, a common practice used by spammers.
It will allow only the MTA, mailman, and root to connect to remote SMTP servers.
Thus, it's by design that enabling the option prevents your user from sending email via a remote SMTP server. You could disable the "SMTP Restrictions" option and add your own custom firewall rules. The SMTP_BLOCK option with CSF might be a good alternative with the possibility of modifying it to allow connections to specific remote servers.

    Thank you.
