Remove Account Stuck

I'm having an issue terminating a user account. From the shell it hangs at

Removing User & Group.......

We had an issue with this server where a drive was failing and was replaced recently. This account had been attempted to be removed while the issue was on-going. It seems that it can't get past this point. Is there something I can do manually to help it along?

Any ideas on this or do I need to open a ticket?

Trying to remove this account produces a lot of iowait and the whole system starts to hang.

Do you get any errors at all during the process? Is anything output to /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log?

There weren't any errors in the log, but I let it run for an hour last night and it finally went. What could be the cause of such slowness?

I'm glad it finally completed, the only thing I can think of is possible corruption from when you were experiencing issues on the previous drive.
