centos 4.x
customer is using Outlook as an IMAP client. Outlook doesn't like to work IMAP well, so when they delete a message, it is 'marked for deletion' much like Horde does. To remove the message, then must then purge the mailbox, folder by folder.
What I'm hoping to find is a way that the server itself can tell what messages to remove. Please note this is NOT an aging problem; messages will stay on the server indefinitely. We just need to remove messages marked for deletion.
How exactly is a message flagged?
