I have remotely backed up the home directory of server A to server B. Included in this backed up home directory is the virtfs. I know you can't just go about removing this folder with serious repercussions ( been there, done that :( ). Would it however be safe to remove the copy of the virtfs folder that has been bought across using rsnaphot backup (both manually rm -rf and when the backup script removes old backups)?

A side note if anyone has used rsnapshot how do you exclude a directory for backup? Currently I have:

    Code:
    root@IPADDRESS:/home/	backupdir/	+rsync_long_args=--exclude=/home/virtfs/
