    Hello:

I am moving sites from one server to another. I have an issue with a couple of sites with an error 'Failed to dump one or more databases.' The databases are databases that have somehow been renamed. to customer_mydb.old. These databases show up in the customers cPanel, but not in PHPmyAdmin in either cPanel or WHM. They also do not exist in /var/lib/mysql.
If I delete them in cPanel it replys deleted but then is still tere when I check the database page in cPAnel.

Any ideas on how to remove these references or how to deal with this issue?

    Hello :)

Check to see if the databases exist in the following file:

    Code:
    # /var/cpanel/databases/user.yaml
Replace "user" with the username of the account.

    Thank you.

Yes they do. Can I just edit that file and remove the ghost database name? Anything need restarting after?

You can remove the entries for databases from that file if the databases no longer exist. You will not have to restart any services after making the change.

    Thank you.
