In WHM you can choose whether or not to allow os commerce, phpnuke or IB.

am I missing it or something? I see where to install and keep updated

    Branding
    Reset a Shopping Cart
    Modify cPanel/WHM News
    Upgrade to Latest Version
    Reset a Mailman Password
    Enable/Disable Outlook AutoConfig
    Addon Scripts <----------------------------------------------- Here
    Synchronize FTP Passwords

but where is it that you would uninstall any addon script that is on the server from WHM

    thanks

You should be able to deselect what you dont want in the user's cpanel under addon scripts via whm as per the section you have pasted.

If i understand right you would like to remove the links in Cpanel even though you have removed the tick from WHM.

    as root:
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/addons
    rm -rf {package to be removed}

Then they will be fully removed from both WHM and Cpanel interface.

If a client has installed a package that you have now removed as you would expect it will not impact them.

thanks. that sounds more like it would work...this is a new server with no clients yet..so the latter is not an issue

How to add scripts to WHM/cPanel is my question of the day.

    cd /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty
rm -rf phpBB2.tar.gz or the name of the app you would like to remove.

I have never done this before, we provide phpBB2 for our clients.
