A while ago I installed tomcat using easy apache for a client. It's no longer needed, and I'd like to reclaim the space it occupies.

Is it safe just to remove the jdk and tomcat folders? Or is there a more WHM friendly way?

Note: I have already recompiled apache without mod_jk and stopped tomcat being restarted by chkservd
