How do I remove the server version info from default pages like 404 errors or directory listings? Where is the file template for this?

    Hello,

Change "ServerSignature" on your httpd.conf to Off, after that restart apache.
    That should do it.

You could also change the ServerTokens directive. I leave it set to "Prod" on all my servers, and it'll only show the product, "Apache".

Also, if you change the ServerSignature, make sure to put it in one of the include files after the main configuration (pre virtual host?). cPanel by default has the ServerSignature on, but you could change it and re-distill httpd.conf and I believe your changes would be kept.
