noticed that in 'Root/' there is a folder called '.spamassassin'. It has no folders or files inside and since I do not use Spamassassin for my clients (as it hogs a lot of memory) I disabled it a long time ago.

I was wondering if it's safe to delete the folder or will it cause problems?

    Thanks.

I think you can remove it. If you are not using spamassassin no problem should be presented by removing it.

If you aren't using spamassassin, then you don't need the folder.

Thanks, removed. Would I simply re-add it with the same name and permissions if I wanted to use it again in the future?

If you re-enable SpamAssassin, it should recreate it. It is a folder with contents, so recreating the folder won't be enough. The folder has to have contents.
