How do I remove some items that show up in WHM?
For example some of the left menu links.

    Thanks
    Mark

For root user, you don't. If you want to remove some tools and features for a reseller with WHM access, you'd adjust that resellers account via the Reseller Center in your WHM. Of course you must be logged in as root to change these settings.

But is there a way I can remove the items using the shell.
Where does WHM get the list from? My server is Centos 5.

/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/themes/x/ is where the WHM theme files are located. With some poking around you should be able to figure out which files do what to edit the WHM theme, but, these changes would be overwritten on next update I would think.

Not sure why you'd want to remove something from the side menu for root but that should point you in the right direction.
