rename a host via command line

    How can I rename a host via command line instead of "modify account" function ?

    To change the hostname of your server via command line , use the following as 'root':
    Code:
    # hostname putnewnamehere
    Make sure that you make the change in the following files as well :

    /etc/hosts
    /etc/sysconfig/network
