Set the forwarder or create an alias with that name!

Is there any way to rename a email account outside of cpanel? I've got about 1.5 gig worth of email I don't want to use and I would prefer not making things more confusing by adding aliases. Thanks!

Probably the simplest way would be to create the new account and ensure it has no email in it. Then copy the mail file/folders from the old to the new account, then delete the old email account. Email folders will be under /home/account/mail/domain.com/emailaccountname/*
